2024 Compensation Study
In 2022, Jacksonville State University embarked on a transformational financial journey as part of the Strategic Planning work for the university. This multi-year transformational initiative is intended to provide institution-wide prudent fiscal stewardship. The 2024 compensation study is a component of this initiative. Jax State seeks to provide a competitive, transparent, compliant, and fiscally responsible compensation program. Jax State recognizes the diverse needs of our more than 1,200 employees. We strive to offer a comprehensive total compensation approach that includes base pay and a robust benefits package. Therefore, this compensation study aims to standardize our salary framework and clearly identify career pathways. These efforts support our dedication to attract, engage, and retain our faculty, staff, and administrators. The final report is scheduled to be completed this fiscal year with implementation of recommendations to coincide with the development of the FY 2024-25 budget.
