Focus Choices
You may choose to pursue a focus, regardless of your catalog year. Speak with your academic advisor to ensure the Jax MIX courses you register for are helping you to complete the focuses you are interested in. Courses transferred from another Alabama institution, including community colleges, are eligible for the focuses.
Upon completion of a course in a focus, you earn a badge in Credentials. This badge is awarded temporarily based on information in the Canvas gradebook; if final grades / course completion conflict with that award, the badge may be removed later.
Once you complete a focus, you earn a badge in Credentials that verifies this achievement. Visit your Credentials account to see your progress towards earning these focus badges.
