microcredential course
associated with that pathway. To check your progress towards earning Jax MIX microcredentials, review your
Credentials account.
Microcredential courses have the subject abbreviation of “MIX” in the university’s
scheduling software.
There is zero cost to enroll in these courses.
In the microcredential course you verify your
event attendance and
work product.
You also compose a
reflection.
It is advised that you attend the three events and complete your work product prior to enrolling in the microcredential course.

Work Product
The
work product
is a project or product that applies to a student’s microcredential and indicates that the student can engage with the ideas and concepts of the microcredential in a sustained, rigorous fashion.
The work product may be a longer traditional project from any course, an internship, study abroad, research, community service,
etc.
that relates to the Jax MIX microcredential . The work product is graded
complete/incomplete.
Reflection
The reflection demonstrates how your three-course focus, event attendance, and work product achieve the competencies and skills of the Jax MIX microcredentials.
Below is a sample of the questions you answer when composing the reflection. Use these questions to help you take notes as you progress through the Jax MIX microcredential pathway. This will help you compose the reflection in the microcredential course.

Passing the microcredential course is the final step to earn your Jax MIX microcredential. This accomplishment appears on your transcript, and you can share it on your résumé. Furthermore, Credentials awards you a digital badge that you can share on social platforms, such as LinkedIn.
