International Payments
Jacksonville State University partners with two vendors to allow international students multiple options to make payments to your student account. Both vendors offer fast and secure services, and you can track your payment progress from start to finish. We encourage you to compare rates and choose the best option for your needs.
Flywire
Flywire can be used to pay for your student account balance.
This service allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank while saving on bank fees and exchange rates. You can track your payments from start to finish.

TransferMate (Available January 2, 2024)
Jacksonville State University has partnered with TransferMate to provide seamless and secure international payments through MyJSU. With TransferMate students can pay tuition and fees in their local currency from nearly any country.

- Log into your MyJSU.
- Click on “View account/Make payment”.
- Go to Make Payment tab and verify the Current Account Balance.
- Choose Transfermate in the Method dropdown menu
- Select the country you are paying from and click Review Rate.
- Select your preferred payment method (bank transfer or e-wallets).
- If you are paying by bank transfer, you will be emailed the banking instructions. Make your payment to the instructed bank account.
- If you chose to pay through your referred e-wallet, follow the instructions presented online
- Only send the amount indicated on your student bill.
- Include your unique Transaction Reference number with the payment.
Note: Brazilian, Chines, South African and Indian students will be required to send supporting documents, which can be easily uploaded.
- Once TransferMate receives your payment, it will be sent to JSU.
- Your payment will automatically post to your Student Account.
- Confirmation of the posted payment will be emailed to you and JSU.
Please Note:
- Jacksonville State University does not allow overpayments. If you transfer more funds than what is due on the student account, TransferMate may return the total or overpayment amount to the originating bank.
- Payments must be applied to your student account in order to confirm your registration. We will not confirm registration until the appropriate payment has been posted to your account. Please make sure that you process your payment request in enough time for the university to receive the funds by the posted due date found on the academic calendar for each semester.
