Welcome to the RMC/JSU Health Center located at the south complex at 1701 Pelham Rd S Jacksonville, AL 36265. Our goal is to ensure that our clients have access to quality-focused health care that is delivered with compassion and a great degree of professionalism. We will strive to exceed your expectations during your visit, and welcome any comments you may have regarding your care.

Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of our campus community by providing quality, compassionate care in a working environment that fosters our commitment and pride. RMC/JSU Health Center provides quality services that are accessible and affordable to the entire campus community regardless of race, handicap, nationality, sexual orientation, familial status (having one or more children), religion/religious beliefs or gender.

Our philosophy is that we function as an advocate for the client, which obligates us to empower you to better manage your healthcare needs through education and skill development. We are prevention-oriented and will take every opportunity to assists our clients in the development of skills to self-direct their behavior to avoid potential issues or prevent recurrences.

JSU has partnered with Regional Medical Center (RMC) to provide professional medical services and management for your Health Center. RMC operates two hospitals in Anniston, with one being a 338-bed tertiary care hospital. In addition to these two hospitals, RMC operates a network of physician clinics and urgent care centers within close proximity of the JSU campus.

Many of the University’s students are covered on their parent’s medical plans, or have other insurances of their own; however, we will provide services to all students, regardless of their ability to pay. RMC has contracted with most of the major insurance companies and will file insurance claims as a courtesy to our clients.

We understand that our “customers” have an option of seeking medical care elsewhere.
