Health Center

Welcome to the Health Center at Jacksonville State University, located at 1701 Pelham Road South. Operated through a partnership with Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center (RMC), the Health Center provides primary outpatient medical care and promotes preventive health services for registered students, faculty, and staff. There is no co-pay for services. 

Walk-in visits are accepted during the morning hours, while afternoon visits are available by appointment only. Please note that the Health Center does not treat patients for automobile accidents, emergency medical conditions, chest pain, injuries requiring sutures (stitches), or head injuries. 

To receive services, patients must present a physical photo ID, such as a Jax State Student ID or a valid driver's license and be prepared to provide their Student ID number. 

If you have an urgent medical need when the Health Center is closed, call 911 or contact the University Police Department (UPD) at (256) 782-5050.
