In 1992, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UAB, followed by my Masters of Science in Nursing Education at Samford in 2016. With more than three decades of clinical experience in nursing, I have worked in various specialties such as ICU, Med-Surg, and Oncology. For the past decade, I have been involved in teaching clinical with several nursing schools in Alabama, and I officially joined JSU as a full-time nursing faculty member in 2021.
