Mrs. Hand is from Spring Garden, Alabama and has been a professor at JSU since 2021. Mrs. Hand practiced as a mother-baby, pediatric, and neonatal nurse for 12 years. She also worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for two years in Dekalb county. Mrs. Hand served as a clinical adjunct for several schools including JSU as she ventured towards her career in education. Previously, Mrs. Hand taught obstetrical and pediatric content in an ADN program for one year. There she also co-coordinated the high-fidelity simulation labs.
Mrs. Hand currently teaches pharmacology in JSU’s traditional BSN program. She teaches in the clinical setting for Adult Health. Mrs. Hand also serves on several committees within the College of Health Professions and Wellness.
