2025 Homecoming King and Queen

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — The Jacksonville State University student body has elected Coby Bonner and Coral Church as 2025 Homecoming King and Queen. The announcement was made Thursday evening during the Homecoming Carnival, just before fireworks lit the sky over campus. 

Bonner is a senior nursing major from Oxford, Alabama. He is involved in the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Jacksonville Association of Nursing Students (JANS), and Student Alumni Committee for the School of Nursing. 

Church is a junior accounting major from Pell City, Alabama. She is a Marching Ballerina, Phi Mu, and is involved in the Honors College, Beta Alpha Psi, and works as an Admissions Student Assistant. 

The King, Queen, and their court will be presented around 5:30 p.m. during pregame of Jax State’s Homecoming Football Game against Murray State at AmFirst Stadium. They will also participate in the annual Homecoming Parade, which will begin at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, starting on Jacksonville Square and concluding in front of the Theron Montgomery Building. 

Homecoming Court  

In addition to the newly crowned King and Queen, Jacksonville State University also celebrated the outstanding achievements of the other members of the Homecoming Court. Each of the following candidates has shown exceptional leadership, service, and school spirit.   

Gracie Countryman  

Countryman is a senior biology major from Steele, Alabama. She is a Resident Assistant at North Village, Community Events coordinator for Delight Ministries, and a member of the ASMSA Club.  

Jeriah Freeman  

Freeman is a senior marketing major from Alexander City, Alabama. She is a Jax State Cheerleader, Jax State Cheer Social Media Manager, Student Athlete Advisory Committee Member, and serves on their Social Media Committee.  

Kaylee George  

George is a senior exercise science and wellness major from Fort Payne, Alabama. She is involved in Phi Mu Kappa Sigma, Jax State Panhellenic as a Rho Gamma, Lambda Sigma Honors Society, and National Society of Leadership and Success.  

Emmie Grizzard  

Grizzard is a senior secondary education and biology major from Roopville, Georgia. She is a Gamecock Orientation Leader and has also been involved as a Freshman Forum Member and Mentor, Jax State Ambassador, Lambda Sigma Member, SSC 101 Mentor, Zeta Tau Alpha, National Society of Leadership and Success, First Gen Society, Student Activities Council, Kappa Mu Epsilon, Order of Omega, Delight, Banner Church, Student Alabama Education Association, and Ducks Unlimited.  

Colby Amos   

Amos is a senior communication major from Silver Creek, Georgia. He is involved in the Delta Chi Fraternity, Student Senate, and JSU College Republicans.  

Hayden Gallahar  

Gallahar is a junior accounting major from Oxford, Alabama.  He is the Pi Kappa Alpha Treasurer as well as a GO! Leader, GO! Coordinator, and an SSC 101 Peer Mentor.  

Oscar Ibarra  

Ibarra is a senior social work major from Gadsden, Alabama. He is a GO! Leader, and a member of Alpha Psi Lambda Fraternity, El Latido, and FirstGen Society.  

Trey Marshall   

Marshall is a junior special education major from Brantley, Alabama. He has served as a GO! Leader and Coordinator, Jax State Ambassador, Vice President of First Gen. Society, and he also holds the title of the 2025-2026 Mr. Friendly.
