Jax State's Online Campus Map and Virtual Tour Highlighted in Concept3D Case Study

Jacksonville State University's (Jax State) innovative online campus map and virtual tour have gained national attention, featured in a new case study by Concept3D, a leader in interactive mapping and virtual tour technology. Developed and maintained by Jax State's Web Services team within the Marketing and Communications department, these dynamic tools offer an enhanced and immersive experience for navigating and exploring the campus.  

The case study, titled "From Static to Seamless: Jacksonville State Transforms Campus Navigation and Engagement with Innovative Solutions," highlights Jax State's creative use of Concept3D's versatile platform to elevate campus navigation and communication. The university's transition from static maps to this robust, interactive system has transformed how prospective and current students, faculty, and visitors engage with the campus. By leveraging Concept3D's technology, Jax State has effectively utilized map and tour data to enhance enrollment event planning and dynamically keep the campus community informed of traffic changes, particularly during periods of heavy construction.  

Chris Newsome, Jax State's Director of Web Services, provides insight into the case study of the university's implementation and strategic use of the platform. His interview outlines how these tools have improved campus experiences and facilitated efficient communication with various stakeholders.

Concept3D's technology is used by a diverse range of organizations, including sports teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, major venues like the Colorado Convention Center, and prominent universities such as James Madison University, Ole Miss, and the University of Alabama.
