Jax State To Close Thursday, July 4 To Celebrate Independence Day

Jacksonville State University will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in celebration of Independence Day. All offices on campus, including the Rec Center, Houston Cole Library, the Bookstore and RMC/Jax State Health Center will resume normal business hours on Friday, July 5. Jack Hopper Dining Hall will reopen on Monday, July 8. 

The University Police Department (UPD) will remain open to keep campus safe and secure. For anyone that has an urgent need or an emergency during hours when campus is closed, they should dial 911 or contact UPD at (256) 782-5050.
