JSU Food Pantry Renamed and Expanded

The JSU Food Pantry has been expanded and renamed The Gamecock Market. Dedicated to ensuring the campus community has its basic needs met, the market helps students, faculty and staff in need of food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies and maternity items.
Located in the basement of Sparkman Hall, the market is open Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests may discreetly access the market from the rear, ground floor entrance to Sparkman Hall. Please ring the bell for assistance. For more information, email gamecockmarket@jsu.edu.
Donations are always welcome and may be dropped off directly at the market during its hours of operation or in the Office of Military and Post-Traditional Student Services in Daugette Hall during university business hours. If you are donating clothing, please wash or dry clean before you drop them off. The following items are currently needed:
- Fall/Winter Jackets (all sizes)
- Sweatshirts (all sizes)
- Jeans (all sizes)
- Winter Hats and Gloves
- Socks
- Shirts, both short and long sleeve (all sizes)
- Professional Attire (suits, jackets, slacks, shirts, ties, skirts, scarves) – all sizes
- Notebooks
- Pens/Pencils
- Calculators
- Folders
- Binders
- Loose-leaf Paper
- Cans of Soup, Chili and Chicken
- Microwave Meals such as Chef Boyardee
- Oatmeal (individual packages)
- Cereal
- Bottles of Water, Gatorade and Juice
- Tea and Coffee (individual packages)
- Individual Bags of Snack Food
