Meet the Candidates for Homecoming Court 2018

The 2018 JSU Homecoming Court candidates were announced at the third annual Homecoming Showcase on Aug. 30. A panel of judges selected the following candidates:
Candidates for Homecoming Queen
- Taylor Ann Beckham, a pre-health biology major from Clifton, Tenn.
- Brooke Bennefield, a special education major from Rainbow City, Ala.
- Jenna Bennett, a finance major from Pelham, Ala.
- Madison Burrell, a family and consumer science major from Jacksonville, Ala.
- Briana Caudle, a psychology and criminal justice major from Huntsville, Ala.
- Dayleigh Dorsett, a nursing major from Sardis City, Ala.
- Ann-Katherine Dothard, a nursing major from White Plains, Ala.
- Ashlee Goff, a psychology and child development major from Dallas, Ga.
- Jessica Ray, a biology and exercise science and wellness major from Clay, Ala.
- Camden Swatts, a dietetics major from Beauregard, Ala.
Candidates for Homecoming King
- Stone Alexander, a pre-health biology major from Centre, Ala.
- Eric Cline, a biology major from Jacksonville, Ala.
- Antonio Dix, a pre-health and emergency management major from Newnan, Ga.
- Jack Gehrdes, a political science major from Huntsville, Ala.
- Cody Hooks, a secondary education major from Hoover, Ala.
- Kuvvat Jorayev, a computer information systems major from Turkmenistan
- Jakobe Perry, a political science and English major from Birmingham, Ala.
Campus will have the opportunity to meet the candidates in person at the Meet & Greet on Sept. 10, 5-7 p.m., in the Theron Montgomery Building Auditorium. Voting will take place online on Sept. 25, 12:01 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the big announcement of Homecoming Court at 7 p.m. that same evening in Leone Cole Auditorium. Homecoming will be held on Sept. 29.
