Professors Celebrate Album Debut

Congratulations to JSU Music Professors Eryn Oft and James for the launch of “Eryn Oft: Out of the Box,” their first album featuring world music arranged for the bassoon. Included in the album are JSU Music Professors Mark Brandon and Andrew Lynge, along with cellist Bryce Anderson and percussionist Colin James.

This is the first album to be recorded and produced using the recently created JSU Mason Hall Recording Studio, which was built in August.

According to Professor Woodward, plans are underway for more projects.

“We will also create a recording label called Vintage Sweater Records that produce a number of albums and projects recorded in the JSU Mason Hall Recording Studio,” he said.

“Eryn Oft: Out of the Box” is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play.
