Teacher Candidates in the Spotlight at Reverse Career Fair

Career Services is hosting a Reverse Career Fair for the School of Education on Nov. 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the fifth floor of Meehan Hall.

What is a “Reverse Career Fair,” you may ask? It’s when JSU’s education students turn the tables and - instead of browsing from booth to booth meeting potential employers - set up display tables showcasing their skills while the recruiters browse the floor.

Teacher candidates graduating in Dec. 2017 are invited to participate and meet representatives from nearly 20 Alabama and Georgia school systems. They may set up tables Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Nov. 29, 1-4 p.m.; or Nov. 30, 8:15-8:50 a.m. (set-up must be completed before 9 a.m.).
