Arbor Day Celebration Slated for February 25

The JSU campus and surrounding community are invited to celebrate Arbor Day on February 25th at 3:30 p.m. in front of the International House. There will be remarks by President John M. Beehler and Mayor Johnny Smith, as well as several pieces of poetry presented by JSU's Writers' and Earth Clubs. The program will conclude with the president and mayor applying one last scoop of soil to complete the planting of a Bosque Elm tree.
