Meehan Honored with Living Memorial

The JSU Faculty Senate planted an oak tree and installed a bench in front of Bibb Graves Hall in honor of President Bill Meehan on April 13. Faculty, staff, students and trustees gathered to recognize Meehan with a living memorial of his JSU legacy. Meehan, who retires from JSU on July 1 after serving as president for 16 years, is a former JSU biology professor and a nature enthusiast.
