Quentin Mayo – BS in Computer Science, Class of 2012
Since Graduation:
- Quentin has received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas, as well as a Master’s degree from the same institution. He has published multiple research papers in cybersecurity, advancing knowledge in the field.
- Is currently a Senior Product Security Engineer at Pinterest.
- Has worked as a Security Engineer at Nextdoor and Federal Reserve Bank of New York .
- Began at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was a member of the National Incident Response Team.
Jacksonville State University laid the foundation for both my career and personal growth. The mentorship and support I received from the faculty not only strengthened my technical skills but also gave me the confidence to pursue graduate studies and build a successful career in cybersecurity. This journey has taken me to the Federal Reserve Bank, Nextdoor, and now Pinterest. My time at JSU shaped me into the professional I am today, and for that, I will always be grateful.
