French Bootcamp (University of Lorraine)

Spend two weeks in Nancy, France, participating in the French Horizons Bootcamp, an immersive summer program focused on art, technology, and inclusion. Taught entirely in English, the program is open to students from all fields of study, and no prior specialized knowledge is required.

Students will combine hands-on learning with cultural exploration and social activities throughout the Lorraine region. The academic experience includes a Fab Lab project where students will create their own escape game using innovative technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, augmented reality, and virtual reality.

Beyond the classroom, students will explore Nancy and the surrounding region through museum visits, an Art Nouveau tour, and a visit to Centre Pompidou-Metz. The program also offers opportunities to connect with French students and participate in activities such as tree climbing in the Vosges Mountains, an Urban Quest, bowling, and pétanque.

This program is offered in English and is open to students from all academic backgrounds. Participants will earn 3 ECTS for successful completion of the program.

Housing

Students will stay in a cozy residence with individual rooms and private bathrooms. Nancy is

located approximately 90 minutes by train from both Paris and Luxembourg.

The program fee is €900 ($1,050 USD) for students from partner universities.
