International House Naming Opportunities

The Jones International House Program provides a window into the world for students at Jacksonville State University and the surrounding community.

The program began in 1946 with four students from France and originally focused on language. While the emphasis is still placed on languages, greater importance is now placed on promoting global understanding and peace between all nations and cultures.

There are 40 members of the program— 20 American students and 20 international.

Each international student is from a different country and is roomed with an American student.
The International House Program has impacted over 2,000 alumni living in 5 continents and there are over 700 active alumni.
