Considering majoring in MUSIC? Check out our VOCAL music degrees: Vocal Performance and Vocal Music Education! More interested in Music Industry or General Music, but want to keep VOICE your primary lesson instrument? Come join us November 13 to experience a day in the life of a VOICE student! Students will attend music classes and applied lessons, interact with current vocal students, and meet with Admissions Counselors, Advisors, and Music Faculty. Register for this event, using the Registration Form below. Walk-ins are WELCOME! Come have fun with us!

Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM - Check In (1st Floor Mason Hall Lobby, by the Student Lounge)

  • 9:15-9:45 AM - Music Theory

  • 9:45-10:45 AM - Observe Voice Lessons (203 and 260)

  • 10:45-11:15 AM - Meet with Admissions and Advising

  • 11:15-11:45 AM - “What it means to be a voice student in college”

  • 11:45-12:45 PM - LUNCH with college voice students (Jax State Dining Hall)

  • 12:45-1:15 PM - Aural Skills

  • 1:15-1:45 PM - Lyric Theatre or Class Piano II

  • 2:00-3:00 PM - Meet with Music Faculty—Q&A (170)

  • 3:00-4:00 PM - A Cappella Choir (170)

  • 4:00 PM - Check out

Voice Student Flyer

All High School Students are invited to our Opera Workshop Scenes Concert at 7:30 pm in the Mason Hall Recital Hall (3rd Floor Mason Hall, 350). This program will include scenes and songs from various operas and musical theatre works.
