Dr. Michelle Thomas is an alumna of JSU. She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from JSU in 2012 and 2015. she received her PhD from Georgia State University in 2023. She currently resides in Newnan, Georgia as a full-time Elementary general music teacher at Robert J. Burch Elementary in Tyrone Georgia. She loves teaching her little ones, but also has a true passion for educating the new music teachers of America.
