Originally from Hollansburg, Ohio, Joel Clevenger started teaching at Jacksonville State University in Fall of 2021. He remains active in the North Atlanta area and is in high demand as a clinician and performer. Joel maintains a competitive private studio with students achieving regular success in District Honor Band/All State in Georgia and Alabama. As an avid audio engineer, Mr. Clevenger records, arranges and mixes various instrumental groups and ensembles. He studied trombone with Dr. James Roberts, Dr. Dave Lambert and Dr. Josh Bynum. Mr. Clevenger currently lives in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife Chelsea and dog Daisy.
