Eliezer Yanson Jr. is an associate professor of music and the director of choral activities at JSU where he conducts the A Cappella Choir, Chamber Singers, and Civic Chorale and teaches undergraduate and graduate music classes. An active adjudicator, clinician, and conference speaker, Eliezer appeared in Carnegie Hall as conductor in 2015 and 2018 and presented at International Federation on Choral Music (IFCM), American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO), National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and Choral Canada events, including the 10th World Symposium on Choral Music held in Seoul, South Korea. While passionate about conducting and teaching, Eliezer’s greatest role is being husband to Martha and father to Isabella and Andre.
