Trevor is the International Student Advisor and one of several DSO's with the JSU International House and Programs. In his current role, he works closely with international students to help them maintain their status and offer resources available to F-1 and J-1 international students. Trevor is also the lead liaison between the school and its contracted agents abroad.
A native of Guntersville, AL but having spent his childhood all over due to being in a military family, Trevor has spent most of his life being exposed to international education, both as a member of a host family and as an exchange student mentor and leader. He is a proud alumnus of Troy University, where he was also involved with their international program.
As far as goals, Trevor hopes to encourage international students to share their cultures with his home state while also assisting international students in cultivating a second home in Sweet Home Alabama.
Trevor is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV), having served in Armenia with their 26th cohort from 2018-2020. To this day, he still speaks Armenian and Russian. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys playing music (cello and banjo), reading, running, and studying linguistics.
