Congratulations to Gemir and Gemira Scott, JaxState's 2024 Homecoming King and Queen!
In a historic moment for Jacksonville State University, twins Gemir Scott and Gemira Scott were crowned the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen on September 19 during the Homecoming Carnival. It marks the first time in Jax State's history that siblings, let alone twins, have held the prestigious titles of Homecoming King and Queen.
Joined by the Homecoming Court, the King and Queen will ride in the parade on Homecoming morning at 9 a.m. and will be honored during halftime at the football game, which kicks off at 2 p.m. The full Homecoming Court includes: Jackson Davis, Trey Landman, Jaden McGee, Reed Williams, Haylee Bailey, Amelia Baker, Elizabeth Edge, and Lauren Sechrest.
