Charles Person Announces Freedom Riders Training Institute at 60th Anniversary Event

Our Logo

Our logo with the bus tire reminds us of our legacy and the courageous people who brought the attention of the country to the unfair and unjust treatment that was taking place. Our tagline, “Driving change for equal justice”, shows our commitment to take these past learnings and drive significant change for the future.

Our Manifesto

We believe that the justice system in America is capable of providing equal justice but is being held back by a lack of common understanding and training. Our fight is against injustice, not people. Our goal is to train the public, government leaders, law enforcement, and the media on how to communicate with each other to achieve a fair and equal society. Using our Freedom Riders heritage embodied by Charles Person, we want to take the core non-violent principles created by MLK and the original civil rights movement and apply them to today’s circumstances.
