On-Site Write: Faculty Writing Group: Spring 2023

Join us each week during the spring semester for our newly established program, On-Site Write: Faculty Writing Group,aimed at developing a framework of research accountability and fostering a supportive faculty writing culture at JSU.   

Faculty Commons is opening room 208 Self Hall as a distraction-free space for any faculty member looking for quality writing time away from their office.  Over a span of nine sessions totaling 18 hours of meeting time, faculty will have the opportunity to set writing goals, write productively, report progress, and collaborate on challenges.  This series is ideal for those looking to make progress on publishable projects.  Participants will be asked to set work plans/writing goals prior to sessions.  Likewise, participants should be prepared to support others and briefly and succinctly discuss progress toward writing goals at the end of each meeting.
