
 
The Secondary Education – General Science Education program supports the JSU learning-centered mission through the development of highly qualified teachers who are well-prepared to instruct a diverse student population using the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required by professional educators. 
- Graduates are qualified for a Class B Professional Teaching Certificate in the State of Alabama
- Successful completion of the General Science Education Program qualifies teacher candidates for certification in Secondary General Science Education (Grades 6-12).
