Admitted Student Days
Admitted Student Day is your exclusive opportunity to experience life at Jax State! Connect with your future academic department, explore campus, tour housing, and see firsthand why we’re known as the Friendliest Campus in the South.
This event is designed just for accepted freshmen like you to spend time in your intended major’s academic department, completing interactive activities and meeting current faculty and students. You and one guest will kick off the day at the University Recreation and Fitness Center, where you’ll learn about your next steps from the Admissions team. Then, head across campus to get an in-depth look at your academic program.
After lunch on your own, build your perfect afternoon! Options include meeting with our Financial Aid team, attending a housing information session, exploring university spaces, participating in an Honors Classroom Experience, or getting one-on-one help with steps like applying for housing, completing the FAFSA, and registering for Gamecock Orientation (GO!). Bonus: attend one of the first two Admitted Student Days to get early access to orientation registration and secure your preferred date before everyone else!
Registration will open soon! You’ll receive a confirmation email, reminders, and updated schedules before your event. Please note: each student may bring only one guest.
