Accepted Student Events

Admitted JSU students have the opportunity through accepted student events to explore JSU, connect with their future academic department, and get assistance completing important next steps to complete enrollment. The Office of Admissions hosts large and smaller events, as well as one-on-one meetings to serve our Future Gamecocks!
Virtual Financial Aid and Scholarship Night - January 21, 2021 | 5 & 6 pm CST
Students and their supporters will even get a chance to join breakout rooms to ask any questions they have at the end of the night. As scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching, you do not want to miss this interactive virtual event.

Accepted Student Days
Accepted Student Day is an exclusive event for accepted freshmen to connect with the academic department of their intended major. Attendees and their guest will also hear from Admissions staff about next steps, and have the opportunity to meet with financial aid and visit various open houses across campus. Students can attend any date; however, space is very limited due to COVID-19 restrictions and only one guest is allowed per student.Registration

Admitted Student Meetings
Admissions Counselors host admitted student meetings for accepted students at most high schools, or admitted student groups across counties, to review next steps and answer admitted student questions.Have Questions?
Cocky Chats are a way for admitted students to meet virtually, one-on-one with their Admissions Counselor to have any Future Gamecock question answered.
