Judicial Branch

The Student Judiciary Council (SJC) is made up of eight Associate Justices Traffic Court and one Chief Justice. All members of the SJC are appointed by the SGA President and confirmed by the Student Senate.

The Traffic Appeals Court is a student-appellate board that meets at least once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters. The SJC works in conjunction with the University Police Department on all student appealed traffic violations occurring on campus. Upon a written request the SJC also determines if there has been a violation of the SGA Constitution and Code of Laws.
