President, JSU LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter
Matt Morgan was a leader in numerous campus organizations while being a Division I Cross Country scholarship-athlete for our JSU Track & Field team. Matt began the JSU LGBT Alumni Chapter to bring visibility to students and resources to campus. Being open and resilient through his time at JSU enabled Matt to advance his confidence individually while building strong friendships with those who surrounded him. No matter the social circumstance, Matt always felt comfort in knowing JSU was the place he would find support.
