Tony Smoke
Tony Smoke, vice president of Alabama Power Company’s Eastern Division, is a 1984 graduate of Auburn University with a BS degree in electrical engineering. In 1997 he graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. He has more than 30 years of experience with Alabama Power.
Smoke is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Birmingham and served as the past Board Chair of the Hispanic Interest Coalition Association Board. He has also served on the Birmingham Education Foundation and the Birmingham Public Library Foundation Board. He currently serves on the YMCA of Greater Birmingham Board, the March of Dimes Board, the Board of the American Red Cross, the 4 Little Girls Scholarship Foundation, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Board, the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind Foundation Board, the Calhoun County Chamber Board, the Calhoun County Economic Development Council Board and the Anniston Museum of Natural History Advisory Board.
Smoke is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He is married and a father of two daughters.
