Abstract: Drawing on experiential learning theory, particularly the work of David Kolb, this session highlights how structured experiences followed by reflection, conceptualization, and application can be effectively implemented in virtual classrooms. Participants will examine practical methods for integrating simulations, real-world projects, peer feedback, and reflective practice into synchronous and asynchronous formats. The presentation also addresses common challenges in online learning, including learner isolation, reduced motivation, and limited participation, offering evidence-informed strategies to enhance interaction and accountability. By the end of the session, participants will gain actionable techniques and adaptable frameworks to design dynamic online courses that promote student agency, authentic learning, and measurable outcomes.
