Effective Strategies for a Successful Online Semester

From January 4 - 8, 2021, 2 to 3 pm, Online@JSU will be presenting a series called "Effective Strategies for a Successful Online Semester!".  Much of the content of the series originates from a useful handbook called "Excellent! Online Teaching: Effective Strategies for a Successful Online Semester" by Aaron Johnson. 

Each session will last 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration and will be held in Microsoft Teams. Each session will provide basic tips, recommendations, and resources that are intended to help any instructor in any field have a successful semester online.

All sessions will be recorded and archived for future viewing.

Canvas Essentials: Straight-forward Instruction to Help You Prepare Your Online Courses

From January 4 - 8, 2021, 10 to 11:00 am, Online@JSU will be presenting a series called "Canvas Essentials: Straight-forward Instruction to Help You Prepare Your Online Course." 

Each session will last 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration and will be held in Microsoft Teams. Each session will provide simple, straight-forward instruction about Canvas navigation, creating Canvas assignments, creating Canvas pages, setting up Canvas learning modules, accessibility, setting up Canvas quizzes (tests/exams) Respondus 4.0 test generator, Canvas assignments page, and the Canvas gradebook.

All sessions will be recorded and archived for future viewing.
