Assistance Needed

If you have reached this page after attempting to log in to the JSU Canvas LMS, this could be for a number of reasons:

  • You are a new employee (adjunct faculty, full time faculty/staff, other) and your employment process is not fully complete.  Please check with JSU Human Resources or the JSU department where you will be working to determine the status of your hiring process.  There may be documents they are awaiting from you or your hiring department.
  • You are a new student or student returning after not registering for a recent term and your admissions and/or registration process is not complete.  Please check with the Registrar's Office or Admissions (Graduate Studies or Undergraduate Admissions) to determine your status.  There may be documents or other steps still needing to be completed or submitted by you.
  • You are entering incorrect credentials.  Please see the Canvas Access instructions.
  • You are not a JSU student, employee, or authorized affiliate and therefore have not been authorized to access the JSU Canvas LMS.

If you feel you have completed all required processes and it has been more than 24 hours since completion, you may email online@jsu.edu from your JSU email address to request assistance.  Please include an explanation of what you were trying to do, what happened instead of the expected result, and when you completed all required steps for gaining access to the JSU Canvas LMS.
