January 2007 issue of Southern Living Magazine features full-page article on Little River Canyon Field School and National Preserve.

The Environmental Policy and Information Center (EPIC) and JSU Field Schools were pleased to discover the following full-page article regarding Little River Canyon Field School and National Preserve in the January 2007 issue of Southern Living magazine (page 30). Reprinted here in its entirety.

Field School staff has been amazed by the impact of this article to generate broader southeastern interest toward their unique programs. Information requests and program reservations have come from Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and all over Alabama. One family flew from Texas on a business trip and attended the Winter Frog Pond Adventure while they were in the area. The Field School Web site statistics are "off the charts" for this month. Many programs for January and February are already full with waiting lists. JSU Field Schools 2007 brochures will be available soon.
