Ingrid is a native of Lancaster, California.

A first-year generation college student raised by Mexican American parents and fluent in Spanish.

She has been in the field of international education for over 20 years, and actively volunteers with NAFSA. Ingrid is passionate about mentoring university students to help them break down barriers and succeed in their endeavors.

In her personal time, she enjoys exercising, reading and travelling. 

Ingrid has a MS in International Relations from Troy University.
