Professor of History
Dr. Robinson is a graduate of Delta State College (B.A., 1961) and Mississippi State University (M.A., 1962; Ph.D. 1964). He teaches various undergraduate and graduate courses in American History at Jacksonville State University. In addition to compiling the Register to the Hamilton Holt Papers, he has served on the editorial board of Forum Press and has been a reviewer for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. Dr. Robinson has served as Chairman of the History Department and President of the Faculty Senate. He has been a member of numerous task forces, search committees, and other university committees. Among his honors are inclusion in Outstanding Young Men of America, Outstanding Educators of America, and the Directory of American Scholars. Dr. Robinson is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Gamma Mu, Phi Alpha Theta, the Organization of American Historians, Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, and the Alabama Education Association. |
