Crime Scene Professional Development

The Center for Applied Forensics will be conducting the three (3) training sessions regarding the incorporation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control into Crime Scene Investigations.  The emphasis of the training will be the utilization of sterile techniques when documenting and collecting biological samples.  This training sessions will have a limited number of seats so registration will be required.  

The three training session will be located as follows:

Training is limited to rural Police Departments and Sheriff’s Offices with individuals that are actively engaged in the documentation and collection of evidence.  The maximum number of attendees from any agency will not exceed 2.  

Participants will be responsible for travel and meal expenses associated with this training.

At the conclusion of the 4 hour training session each participant will be issued a Crime Scene Kit containing supplies to document and collect potential items of evidence.
