Mica Marker Mecham began teaching for Jacksonville State University in the fall of 2005 as an adjunct instructor and became a full-time faculty member in the spring of 2009. Mrs. Mecham and her husband, Shaun, have two sons, Ryder and Sawyer, and a dog and cat, Bo and Kit.
