Katelyn Williams, a Jacksonville, AL native, resides in Birmingham, AL. She began teaching as a graduate student in the Department of Learning Services and worked with the ExSEL program (now the Fast Start Academy), teaching basic grammar and mentoring students and facilitating students’ transition from high school to college. In Learning Services, Ms. Williams taught LS 104 Academic Success Skills.

Following completion of her M.A. in the summer of 2010, she began teaching in the JSU English Department in fall of 2010 and became a full-time Instructor in 2014. Ms. Williams is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time training and coaching.
