Jon Garlick

Jon has experience, education and training in both the public and private sectors with executive level experience in corporate finance and accounting, law enforcement and mental health. He worked as chief financial officer at Lee Brass Company and the McWane Science Center, and retired after 18 years as chief deputy at the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office. He is currently a LPC-S with over 20years experience working in crisis and trauma, as counselor, law enforcement, and crisis negotiator.

Education

Jon holds a BS in accounting and finance, and MS and Ed.S. in counseling and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He is a Licensed Professional Counseling Supervisor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Trauma Treatment Professional, Clinically Certified Juvenile Treatment Professional. He is also certified as a Jail Manager, Crisis Negotiator, Incident Commander, and in Court Security.
