I am Lynne Hollingsworth and as a Disability Specialist, I assist students by providing guidance and determining reasonable accommodations to remove barriers to access for their Gamecock education.  My passion for directly working with and supporting individuals with disabilities brought me to JSU. I am passionate in guiding students with disabilities in having the opportunity to realize their full academic and personal potential. 

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Work from Jacksonville State University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The University of Alabama. I am licensed in the state of Alabama as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and certified as a Private Independent Practitioner (PIP).  Prior to coming to JSU, I worked in the areas of developmental disabilities, child welfare, public health, medical and clinical social work. I live nearby with my family on a small farm. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, traveling, and spending time with my family.
