The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at Jacksonville State University is a specialized undergraduate program designed to equip students to develop advanced knowledge, skills and mindset required for them to launch and sustain their own business. This program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom education and real-life skills needed to launch, grow, and sustain a business enterprise that will continue to be an asset to the regional and national economy. Unlike many of the traditional entrepreneurship programs within the state and nation, the B.S. in Entrepreneurship at Jax State will focus on developing businesses with innovative product, services, and processes that are thoroughly beta tested while in college and launched upon graduation with support of the Jax State community, donors, and alumni. Included in the program is a micro-credential that can easily be incorporated within every major and concentration at Jax State to allow students outside the College of Business and Industry to prepare to launch a business in their area of interest.
