A degree in economics also opens up multiple post-graduate opportunities such as a law degree, MBA, or PhD.

Students can pursue the BS in economics or the BA in economics. Students pursuing the BS will complete thirty-nine hours of general core courses and twenty-seven hours of lower level business courses during their freshman and sophomore years. Beginning in their junior year, students will begin taking thirty hours of upper level business courses and twenty-four hours of economics major courses.
