Have a Mindful March!
What is Mindfulness? A state of non-judgmental awareness of what's happening in the present moment including the awareness of one's own thoughts, feelings, and senses.
Ways to practice mindfulness:
- Use your 5 senses to notice 5 things you see, 4 things you feel, 3 things you hear, 2 things you see, and 1 thing you smell.
- Take a mindful walk and notice how your body is moving. Use your 5 senses to discover the world around you.
- Do some intentional breath work: Breathe slowly and deeply. Breathe in peace and breathe out your stress and anxiety.
- Sit quietly in meditation and be still. No watching TV or looking at your phone. Take time to just be.
