Dr. Kihyun “Ki” Kim joined Jacksonville State University in 2011. He was an Assistant Professor at Winona State University in MN, after receiving both an MA and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Nebraska. Previously, he received both a BBA and an MBA in Business Administration at Korea University. From 2015 to present, he has been an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at Jacksonville State University. Dr. Kim’s background covers both theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Information Systems. He has taught a wide variety of courses, from computer literacy to advanced graduate courses in MIS, Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Data Science. His current research interests include IT education, strategic use of information systems, business analytics, and big data management.
