Dr. Sneed is a Professor of Accounting at Jacksonville State University. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Alabama. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Dr. Sneed is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. Dr. Sneed worked as a corporate accountant for a defense contractor for two years before pursuing his Ph.D. He has published over 30 articles in refereed academic journal and presented papers at various professional conferences. His research has focused on topics relating to financial, tax, and governmental accounting.
