OIRA Publishes 2007-2008 Fact Book Special Edition

The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) is pleased to announce the publication of the 2007-2008 JSU Fact Book, which is now available online at http://www.jsu.edu/info/factbook/.

Based on Fall 2007 data, this year’s Fact Book is a special commemorative edition created for the University’s upcoming 125th anniversary. Included along with the vital statistics and departmental profiles are items of historic interest such as a University timeline, profiles of each JSU president, the namesakes of university buildings, words to the JSU Fight Song, and a special feature that traces the evolution of Cocky, our university mascot.

The JSU Fact Book is the official source of historical and statistical information about Jacksonville State University. It is distributed annually on campus and throughout the community served by JSU for use as a reference for anyone looking for annual and trend data that supports continuous improvement outcomes and data-driven decision-making. In addition to the online edition, the Fact Book will be available in print and on mini CD in mid-January.

The Fact Book is published by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, 203 Bibb Graves Hall. For more information or to request either the printed edition or CD edition, please call 782-8144 or e-mail oira@jsu.edu.
